Police: Merritt crash involved stolen vehicle

STRATFORD - One person was injured in a multi-car crash on the Merritt Parkway caused by a fleeing stolen car. Elreial Santos-Siaples, 30, of Pearl Harbor Street, Bridgeport, suffered a back injury when her car was struck by a stolen Subaru sedan that had previously been involved in a crash on Interstate 95. State police said shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, the stolen car was driving erratically southbound on the parkway north of Exit 52 when it hit two other cars before colliding with Santos-Siaples’ car. On Monday morning, Sgt. Jamie J. Rivera released more details of the incident that happened in the James Farm Road area near the parkway.
