Milford cops: 3 had phony money at Sears



MILFORD - Three Staten Island, N.Y. residents have been arrested for allegedly trying to use counterfeit money at the Sears store in the Connecticut Post mall. Police were called the store around 8:30 p.m. Saturday when they were told that the trio were in possession of “numerous fraudelent $100, $50 and 20 bills,” according to Officer Joseph Dempsey. Arrested on a charge of first-degree forgery were Geenamarie Gallo, 23; Christina Gallo, 18; and Kevon Parker, 37. Christina Gallo was also charged with possession of marijuana. The three Statan Island residents were released after posting $1,000 bonds. They will appear in Milford Superior Court the day after Christmas.
