Case Prevalence Per 10,000, By Town
For the week ending Nov. 18
The good news is that there are two very effective vaccines for COVID-19 coming out of trials. The bad news is that too many of us will come down with the virus between now and whenever the vaccine is finally available.
Connecticut endured another week of rapidly climbing case totals, marking a record 12,314 positive test results between Nov. 11 and Nov. 18. The state’s case positivity rate is at 5.5% for that week. Hospitalizations jumped by over 300, though deaths remain mercifully low for now.
