BRIDGEPORT — A male victim suffered several stab wounds in the city Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police responded to Bridgeport Hospital for a person who had been stabbed around 12 p.m. in the area of the 400 block of Hallett Street, police spokesman Av Harris said. He said the victim was breaking up a fight when he was stabbed.
No suspects were found in the area after the incident was reported to police and no one was apprehended. It was unclear if the victim was somehow involved in the fight or just a passerby.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, Harris said. No further information on the victim’s condition was available Saturday night.
