Education official fails probation for drunk driving

BRIDGEPORT - State education official Stephen Wright is being sought by police after apparently violating probation following a prison term for four drunken driving arrests in 12 weeks. Police said Wright, a member of the state Board of Education who recently completed a 120-day prison term, did not report to his probation officer after he got out of prison — and the address he gave probation turned out to be a vacant lot in Monroe. Wright’s lawyer, Brittany Paz, declined comment.
