SHELTON - A substitute teacher, who worked at Shelton High School, was arrested Thursday on a criminal trespass charge.
According to Detective Christopher Nugent, officers went to Shelton High School on a report of an unwanted person.
“Upon arrival School Officials reported that they were requesting, Nichelle Smith, who was a substitute teacher to leave the school property. Smith left the grounds without any confrontation and was advised not to return to any Shelton school properties, including the Board of Education building or she would be subjected to arrest on criminal trespassing charges.
