Monroe cops need help identifying larceny suspect

MONROE — Monroe police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect of several larcenies. Police responded to Wolfe Park, 285 Cutlers Farm Road, to investigate multiple thefts from cars over the span of Aug. 25 to Aug. 27. Police said the incidents occurred in the late afternoon and early evening hours. The suspect is reported to have stolen credit cards from the vehicles, police said, that he used at a 7-Eleven in Fairfield, the Stratford Service Center in Fairfield, a Citgo gas station in Bridgeport, a Citgo gas station in Newtown and Nunes Auto in Bridgeport. Anyone who believes they might have information about the incidents or can identify the suspect is asked to contact Det.
