BRIDGEPORT — Police say a love triangle may have led to a late-night shooting Friday that left an East Hartford resident with bullet wounds to the face and forearm.
Bridgeport Police Department spokesman Av Harris confirmed that the incident took place on the 500 block of Ellsworth Street. Police described the male victim’s wounds as non-life-threatening and said the Bridgeport Police Department’s Detective Bureau is investigating.
According to dispatch reports, the wounded male was in a vehicle being driven down State Street when the driver pulled over and communicated to police that the passenger had been shot on Ellsworth Street, behind the Burroughs Community Center.
